Patrick Luah is a Managing Director of PLC Advisory Group and has near 25 years of experience in audit & taxation with two of the Big 5 internal accounting & consultancy firms which are BDO Malaysia & KPMG Singapore.

He is a fellow member of ACCA UK. Presently, he manages tax practices, company secretarial & HR consulting groups of firms and associates in the central & southern regions of Malaysia. He has advised SMEs, large local and multi-national clients on tax & corporate company law matters.

He is a Chartered Accountant, Corporate Secretary & Approved Tax Agent by the Ministry of Finance. His experience covers both tax compliance and advisory work across a wide spectrum of industries for both personal tax matters, including advising on tax structures for inbound investment, corporate restructuring schemes, maximising tax incentives, effective employee remuneration packages and tax due diligence review. He has also been involved in numerous tax investigation and tax audit assignments in formulating defence strategy and defending clients on the issues arising from tax investigations and audit by Inland Revenue Board.

He was invited to participate and contribute in tax dialogues and discussions with Government authorities. He conducts training in tax and company law matters as Corporate Coaching and in Public Seminars.

He was a past member of Johor Committee member of the Malaysia Institute of Accountants (MIA), and affiliate of MAICSA Malaysia and presently acting as a sub-committee member with the Chartered Taxation Institute of Malaysia (CTIM) for the Johor Committee. He currently serves as a council member of Johor Associated Chinese Chamber of Commerce & Industry (JACCCI) and joined the SME committee of the Associated Chinese Chamber of Commerce & Industry of Malaysia (ACCCIM). He presently leads the Johor Tax Committee in his 3rd term since 2013.

Since MCO, he is a frequent guest speaker on Live social media to share strategies topics on Corporate Strategy, Equity Crowd Funding, Taxation, HR and Corporate Law as well as mentoring CFP Certified Financial Planner's Tax Module Classes & Financial Analytics related matters.
